About Us
Kachina's is located on a 5 acre mini-ranch, in the foothills just north of Phoenix, Arizona.
We moved to this location is 1986, when it was just my husband, our daugher, and me. Now, we have my daugher, her husband, six grandchildren, including 4 teenagers and an 18 month old granddaughter all living here.
Now, as then, I continue to find solace in the whimsical antics of my Havanese.
When the Havanese were recognized as an AKC breed, our dogs became foundation stock in AKC.
I am immensely proud of being one of three original founders of the nationwide, Havanese Rescue, Inc., a 501c3, Arizona corporation to provide a support network for our wonderful Havanese. This nationwide network of dedicated volunteers have done truly outstanding work. They could use both financial assistance and foster home volunteers, so please visit Havanese Rescue, Inc.
Whether it was Havanese Rescue, serving on the HCA Board, or working quietly behind the scenes, I have, and always will, continue to work to promote and protect
the Havanese.
