Welcome to Kachina'sHavanese
I purchased my first Havanese after reading an article in Dog World Magazine in 1991. This was years before the Havanese became an AKC recognized toy breed. At the time of the magazine article, it was thought there may be Progressive Retinal Atrophy in the breed, however, this was not the case. The Havanese are generally a very healthy breed. We have health screened our dogs since 1991, to do all we can to see they stay that way. Living with a Havanese, is like living with a Court Jester! In addition to their comedic antics, they're a bit like velcro, in that they stick with you everywhere! I've been an AKC Havanese breeder since 1991. Now, along with my daughter, Dawn of Legends Havanese, we're able share in our devotion to the Havanese. A member of the Bichon family, they are hypo-allergenic, and are often recommended for those with family members who have allergies. That, along with their temperament make the Havanese an ideal pet. Miniature Horses
In 1962, 12 Falabella miniature horses were imported from Argentina, by the Regina Winery as a product promotion. This six in hand team pulled a scaled down version of a stagecoach at such events as the Tournament of Roses. The affect of these original Regina Winery Falabella miniature horse imports in the pedigrees of the miniature horses of today has been profound. We specialize in miniature appaloosas, and have enjoyed every hour spent with them. However, with our advancing age and medical issues, we have no other option but a complete herd dispersal. Check out our miniature horse sales pages. |
